About me

I’m a school library media specialist in the best elementary school in the world, a mom of 2 boys, an aunt to 2 girls, and a book lover! I am also the author of When I Met You: A Story of Russian Adoption, and Mishka: An Adoption Tale, as well as a couple of forthcoming projects (details when they’re a little more forthcoming). I love to read and review books for kids!

I also own an independent publishing company, DRT Press, and write about my experiences with d.i.y. publishing at Idea-girl.net.

With this blog, it’s my goal to post a book review of a children’s book every single day for the next year.
